Taxes
Flat 25% income tax with a basic relief of about BZD 26,000 (income below is effectively 0%). Statutorily the relief is a stepped notch: exempt up to 26,000, relief 24,600 for 26,001-27,000, 22,600 for 27,001-29,000, and 19,600 above 29,000. No CGT, wealth or inheritance tax. GST 12.5%.
Residency and visas
Regular permanent residency is possible after about 1 year of legal residence; naturalisation after about 5 years. The QRP offers fast residency for retirees aged 45+.
