Why this exists
The Dutch top tax bracket is 49.5%. Yet in other EU countries people pay their bills, access healthcare and education, and contribute significantly less to the state. Figuring out the difference takes 40 hours of Googling unreliable sources, or €5,000+ in advisor fees before they even tell you whether relocating makes sense. Libaros sits between those two: €6,99 for an independent comparison sourced exclusively from primary government data.
Who's behind this
Libaros is a trading name of MVE Holding BV, registered in the Netherlands. The operator is an independent business, not affiliated with immigration agencies, tax advisors, or real estate brokers. We don't earn anything on what advice you act on. That keeps our recommendations honest.
How we work
Each Freedom Score report is generated by a structured AI pipeline that draws exclusively from national tax authorities, OECD tax-treaty publications, official immigration agencies, and validated living-environment and cost-of-living indicators (Eurostat, WHO, Numbeo). No Wikipedia, no blogs, no LLM training memory. Every figure in your report carries a direct URL and access date so you (or your tax advisor) can verify our claims.
Our team and mission
Behind Libaros is a small, independent team obsessed with one thing: that every figure traces back to a primary government source. We let AI do the heavy lifting at scale, but the discipline is human, no blogs, no guesses, every number with its source and date. Why we do this: every year Europe piles on a little more, higher burdens, more rules, less room to choose for yourself. Libaros gives you the data to make that choice yourself, independent and without a sales pitch. And because freedom does not exist in an empty landscape, we will donate part of every report to Justdiggit, which works with local communities to turn dry land in Africa green again.
What we are not
Not tax advice. Not legal advice. Not financial advice as defined under Dutch Wft. We are a structured comparison tool that gives you an informed starting position, not a substitute for a qualified advisor in the jurisdiction you're considering. The report references the official tax-advisor chambers in each destination country so you can find a reliable professional.
