Terms of Service

Libaros is a trading name of MVE Holding BV, a Dutch private limited company. These terms cover the libaros.com website, the Freedom Score calculator, the personalised relocation reports, and any related services.

If you are buying as a consumer in the EU, mandatory consumer-protection law applies. Nothing in these terms can override those rights.

Libaros provides personalised informational reports comparing your departure country with up to 23 destination countries across five freedom dimensions: tax, mobility, residency, ownership, and lifestyle.

What our reports are NOT: tax advice, legal advice, financial advice, or recommendations to relocate. They are research summaries based on publicly available primary sources. See our Disclaimer for the full scope.

Our current prices are €19 (Lite), €29 (Standard) and €79 (Premium). All prices include applicable VAT for EU consumers (digital goods, place-of-consumer VAT rule).

Payment is processed by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or Mollie (iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA). We never see or store your card data.

Reports are delivered as a PDF to your email within 5 minutes of successful payment. If delivery takes longer than 30 minutes, contact support@libaros.com for an immediate refund or manual delivery.

If the automated pipeline cannot complete the report (rare AI failure case), we issue an automatic full refund within 24 hours.

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (transposed in Dutch law as BW 6:230h), consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content.

By starting the report-generation process, you explicitly waive this right under BW 6:230p sub d, the digital product is delivered immediately and is personalised. We will only generate your report after you confirm this waiver at checkout.

However, we offer a goodwill refund: if you read the report and find substantive errors or it does not match the advertised scope, we issue a full refund within 30 days. No questions asked.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days via the original payment method.

If you have a dispute we cannot resolve directly, you can contact the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We use primary government and OECD sources, dated and cited within each report. Tax law changes frequently. The report reflects the state of the law on the date of generation. Always consult a qualified advisor before acting on any information.

The Libaros website, the Freedom Score methodology, the report format and templates are copyright MVE Holding BV. You receive a non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use your personal report for your own decision-making.

You may not republish, resell, scrape, or use Libaros content to train AI models without our written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, tax assessments arising from your decisions, or third-party advice you obtained.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.

You can use Libaros without creating an account. If you have a customer portal account (after purchase), keep your credentials secure. We will close inactive accounts after 24 months of no login.

We may update these terms. We will email active customers and post a banner on libaros.com at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Consumer mandatory protections in your country of residence still apply. Disputes will be brought before the competent Dutch court, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring the case in your own country.

Regardless of the choice of Dutch law above, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply under EU Regulation Rome I (art. 6). Specifically:

• 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content under EU Directive 2011/83, waived by your express consent at checkout (Art. 16(m)) once the report generation starts.
• Local court jurisdiction: under Brussels I bis Regulation art. 18, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
• EU Online Dispute Resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
• National consumer authority: you may complain to the consumer-protection body in your country (links provided per locale on our /legal pages).
• 30-day goodwill refund: beyond legal requirements, we refund in full within 30 days for substantive errors.
